I havent written to this blog since I started it in 2003...thought I'd get back into the swing of things.
Besides making my own iced coffee today, I managed to get another amazing task accomplished! I applied to grad school, yay! I've been wanting to get my masters for some time now - hopefully they will accept me and I can start complaining about how busy I am...as if I don't already ;)
This weekend, the MTA decided to not allow cell phone service in all the tunnels (subway and all others, I presume) around the city. Gotta love NYC post 9/11. It scares me a bit, but I have to take the subway to work...I'm not too motivated to walk in the heat and end up covered in sweat when I get to work. So, subway it is. The day of the attacks on London made for an interesting subway ride...people usually dont make eye contact and are looking down at their paper or up at the silly ads for Dr. Z. But that day, everyone was looking around, waiting for someone to...well, I dunno. In a few days, people will be back to their normal iPod wearin', newspaper readin', money beggin', and general talking to themselves kind of subway ride. I love NY.
It's 3:30 and I haven't eaten lunch yet...might as well get a Jamba. Our company's president invited us all to his office for margaritas this afternoon to celebrate his new digs. I love the entertainment industry and today's liquid diet ;) Drink up!
