Happy New Year to you all. Hope you had a nice holiday season...it's back to work now. Sigh.

My new years resolution, and my I-turned-30 resolution was to let go of drama in my life, live an easier simpler life and de-stress. And I tried!! But on a whim, I logged on to verizon.com today to make sure I didn't have any outstanding bills from my apartment move in December. Glad I looked!! Verizon is still charging me for my phone bill even though I ported my number to Time Warner Cable.

To make a VERY long, heart pressure increasing, knuckle popping (I do that when I'm pissed off), anger inducing story a little shorter...I called Verizon and they were so rude to me for an hour. They wouldnt budge, told me it was TWC's fault. So I called TWC and they wouldn't budge saying it was Verizon's fault.

How does the consumer always get screwed!? Verizon has my credit card on file and said they would charge my account this week. I told him I'm calling AMEX to refuse payment - he didnt like that one. Gotta get NYker on their ass.

....all in the name of my "fun" phone number.
