There's all this news about NY's Governor and his stupid behavior....and then there's a lot going on about the "stand by your man" actions of Spitzer's wife. And there's a lot about how a lot of other wives have done the same thing (i.e. Clinton, McGreevey, the wife of the airport toilet guy...etc).

So here's my question - can you name a woman of power or in the public eye that has done something stupid like these men, and then her husband stood up for her...stood by his woman?? I'm really having a tough time finding one.

Why is it that women are expected to stand by their men when he's done something soooooo dumb, yet where are the men doing the same thing? Or is it that women don't do stupid stuff like this :)
