I've been debating what to write about my reunion...well, more like, I've been wondering what pictures I should post. I like to keep things a little bit incognito and not put my face all over this blog. But the only pictures I could find were of the scenery (see below) and a group of the popular girls that I dislike. And I dont want to clutter my blog with those kinds of people. I'd rather talk crap about them.

So, anyway, I made it through my reunion and had a fantastic time! I had a very cute dress on and felt good about myself....especially after 2 cocktails :) We had the reunion at Lucy's Boathouse...on a upstairs part of pier of sorts. The food sucked. We had fajitas, queso, chips and beans. I ate a little, but not my $58 worth. They made a cake for us with a picture of our entire class on it, but I didnt partake. It was making people's teeth turn blue...wouldnt look so hot in the pictures.
The worst part about the reunion - the heat!! It was 102 degrees that day and the reunion started at 7pm. The sun was still very brightly shining on our shindig and I had sweat dripping from all parts of me. Cute. After the sun went down, the wind picked up and I had to keep an eye (or rather one hand) on my dress. I didnt want to be that girl who flashed the crowd on accident.
I saw all sorts of people I really missed, and others I had no interest in seeing. In fact, it's just my observation, but I think that the most popular girls stayed at one table for a reason. See, they secluded themselves in high school, so now 10 yrs later, they don't know anyone. Now they look like the losers. Well, that's how I like to see it anyway.
At the end of the night, the photographer tried to get us all in a group picture. Good luck, man! There were over 100 drunk 28 yrs olds to get together. Mr. Photog wasnt too happy. He got the one pic and then the dancin' began. Oh, wait, they did a slide show and that was entertaining. They had our senior pictures mixed in with ones people sent it - they didnt use the pic I sent in, however, I was the only one to have my current photo in the slide show. I have a feeling they thought it was a picture from high school. I'm taking that as a compliment - that I haven't aged. That was funny.
The dancin was funny - saw one guy doing some breakdancin'. After the reunion, a bunch of us went to a bar/club and danced some more. The night ended with a very very drunk high school acquaintance (who had been following me all night) tell me he was infatuated with me. He went as far to say that he wants to take me out wherever I want to go (ooh, wow, thanks!)...we could even eat sushi!! I guess he sees me as this NYker and that that's a high-class meal. Not sure i'm into eating sushi in a land-locked city. But anyway...
The night ended with Manda and David going to Taco Cabana for a feast. We took it all back to Manda's and ate it on the floor of her living room. Manda passed out. I took blackmail pics of her (sorry, you aint gonna see those or she'll kill me) and then I drove David home. But alas, when we got to David's he realized he had forgotten his keys and cell phone in Manda's car....30 minutes away. Damn! He broke into his apartment and all was well.
I was home by 5am.
Good times.
