BobbyG and I went to DC this weekend and had an amazing weekend. We tried to check out the Newseum but it's not open for another 2 months. Looks cool though!

We went to the Botanical Gardens and the Air and Space Museum where BobbyG fell asleep to the sound of a computerized woman's voice telling us about worldwide atmospheric changes over the last few days.

We ate crab cakes at the best restaurant: Cafe Deluxe - we eat there every DC visit. On Sunday we ate breakfast with a high school friend of mine and then went to see Sleeping Beauty at the Kennedy Center. BobbyG reenacted the title of the ballet. I loved the show but i wanted to take the female dancers out for a big meal afterwards. Too skinny.

We had mexican food before hitting the road. When i booked the tix for the ballet a few months ago, i had NO CLUE (and neither did BobbyG for the record) that this would fall on Super Bowl sunday. A big thank you to BobbyG for listening to his fav team the Patriots on the radio. I would have liked to see it on TV too :(
