One quick thing before I start - MattR, I didnt mention MidWest because these hotels are just the ones I've visited in 2006. Ugh. Ok, so while I was in Chicago in Dec 2004, I stayed at the W Lakeshore and it was wonderful. Most W Hotels are the same...the staff is great, the food is great, the atmosphere is clubby in the lobby, but the rooms are quiet. I'll be in Chicago in one week to experience the windy city again - this time at the Westin.
I'm finally at home. And by home, I mean Austin. I drove up Saturday morning from San Antonio and it's been so nice to be here with family and friends. But I'm sick :( I've got a headcold that started Tuesday in DC and has followed me cross country and now to Texas. Since I've been in so many planes lately, the cold seems to be lingering and now, since I havent flown since Friday night, the cold has hit me head on. I still have an event in San Antonio on Monday morning with a woman likely to be the devil in flesh - wish me luck. On a good note, Manda and I drank beer, ate pizza and watched several episodes of Sex & The City last night. First time I had relaxed in at least a week. Thanks Manda!!
Ok, time to go to Luby's, a great establishment in Austin where I'm the youngest person in the restaurant by at least 40 yrs.
Bon Voyage.

Okay, okay...I see your point now. I thought you were talking about hotels you've been to with VH1 in general...not just THIS YEAR! So, my bad! ;)
