Less than one week till my trip to Austin. And 2 weeks till DC. And 1 month till Cabo. The countdown is on!!

Did everyone have a nice 4th of July weekend? Mine was pretty busy - didnt get cabin fever until the last day. As you know, I went to the beach with Christy. And we also saw Devil Wears Prada together. That movie needs to come with a Xanax for those of us former assistants! I was so very anxious afterwards...remembering how I had to clean toilets and dust plant leaves on a ladder. And how I once had to pick a tick off a dog's ass....the same dog I had to walk twice a day as part of my job (poor Sophie, may she rest in peace "bow bow"). Anyway, all the anxiety came back and that wasnt good.

So the next day, on Tuesday, I took a nice long walk down the Hudson river on the west side of Manhattan. Did a lot of walking that day - I calculated more than 5 miles! Here are a few pics:
