Isn't there a song with the chorus "I love LA." Well, I dont get it. I flew into LAX today - I've been here at least 5 times this year, and I still dont like it. The haze is so ugly...I couldnt even see the mountains today. Gross.
I'm in Long Beach this weekend for work (i.e. against my will)...and I havent found anything good except for the lovely Westin where I rest my head.
Thus...I'm an east coast girl (and Texan by birth).

No, I didn't care for it either. But there are a lot of American icons there, like Hollywood Blvd, the Walk of Fame, Graumann's Chinese Theater (or whatever it's called), Sunset Strip, etc. Yeah, when you've seen them once there's not much to attract you back.
