Hmmm. I haven't used that phrase lately, but it is a part of my vocabulary. Being that I just transitioned into a business environment out of an educational environment, I find myself saying "I know I'm no business genius, but..." to begin pitching my ideas around the office. That, or I'll say "Look, I know this might sound like a corny idea, but what if we..." You'd be amazed how many of my ideas were welcomed when I started them off that way. It's a lot better than "I think we should do..." But, that's just me. What's your impression? :)
