ooh, ya, didja know that I'm in Minneapolis, ya! Cant do the accent over blog for all that long....anyway, did you know that the Mississippi starts way up here in MN? I sure didnt. But I crossed it twice today. Who knew!

I got here to Mini and set up for my event taking place tomorrow morning. Then, I went to my hotel to check in. Wow, wrong part of town. I sat in the parking lot thinking, I cant stay here. A semi-nice looking new hotel, but not a good part of town...actually very sketchy. I thought, hmmm, what would my mom do....she would call the travel agent and book another hotel. So that's what I did. Now I'm at the Marriott in downtown Mini and it's super nice, ya. Much happier here. I had dinner with a client and now I'm relaxing watching the same channel I always watch on trips: A&E. I watch Dog the Bounty Hunter and Inked. I'm not sure why, but they keep me interested.

I just heard that for the 2nd time in recent history, two planes came very close to running into one another at Chicago ORD today. Yikes, I was at the airport today. And then I remembered that I was on a flight in god-knows-where...we were turning the corner to get ready for takoff and then as the engines were getting ready, we quickly turned off the runway because another jet was going to land on top of us. oops. Damn! And then another time recently, our plane was about to land, and we were juuuuust about to touch the back wheels down when the pilot pulled back and we went right back up into the sky. He said we almost hit another plane. Gee, thanks. So I believe it when it happens at ORD. Scary!!!

On that note, I'm going to Chicago tomorrow....
