We had a tornado warning today in NYC! First i've ever heard of. There was a tornado sighted in Harlem, I hear. Crazy stuff. Not sure what I'd do if a tornado hit the city...I'm on the 20th floor at work, not sure my Go Bag would help in this case.

The Go Bag was given to every employee after 9/11. It has a flashlight, water, mask, etc in it and is supposed to be kept in an easy-to-reach area of your office in case you need to "go."

I <3 NY

(that's a heart by the way - learned it from my cousin on myspace, like oh my god)

Hmmm, a Go Bag. That sounds more like what you find in the pocket of your seat on an airplane, thab something to help you get out of a building, if you get my drift. It sounds like a barf bag, but for the other end.

You wrote that for me. I know it.

Islands in the stream...floating by.....not connected to, the other side.....

It was an F-0 tornado (40-72 mph winds) that allegedly touched down on Long Island. Not to bash you East Coasters, but I think both Kirstie Lou, (a Texan), and myself (a Central Illinoisan) would agree that this hardly qualifies as a "tornado" and that the whole thing was much ado about nothing.
