Attention to anyone who works in Education or has an opinion on it. I'm writing a 20 page term paper for my Education Policy class on Charter Schools. I am looking to see if the last 10 yrs of charter schools has created a market of competition for the traditional school system.
I am personally anti-charter schools, but I would like your opinion. Since I work in the field, I sometimes get too involved and dont have a global perspective. So come one come all - let me know what you think.

Hi! I'm in education don't really know much about charter schools. Could be that when you teach in the Texas public school system, you are so busy that you have little time to peruse the new educational research. That's a sorry state of affairs, but true. For me, anyhow!
We are hit daily by No Child Left Behind which I feel has hurt more kids than it has helped. And as for Neil and Barbara Bush - who are taking personal gain from NCLB - that stinks!
