The real reason why I'm leaving NYC - my favorite restaurant EVER is closing. Franklin Station, home of the curry udon noodle greatness has been forced to close on June 10th. This is the place I've taken probably everyone I know in NYC and all of my friends and family throughout the years. They know me by my order, and I don't even get a menu anymore - no need, I get the curry chicken noodle, no bean sprouts, no onions with a Chimay red to drink.

My favorite bagel place and my local pizza place also closed recently. That's a sign it's okay for me to leave.
