Happy Saturday my friends...luckily, this long weekend is actually feeling like a long weekend instead of rushing by. And that's not normally how it goes when I come home to Texas. I'm having a great opportunity to relax, eat some BBQ, saw my mom in a play and spent some time with family and friends. A good weekend so far :-)

My parents have these neighbors...two single guys who drink a lot. Kinda like a frat house for 30 and 40-something year olds. It's quite amusing. They hang out with my stepdad and act as if they've all known each other for years, but it's really been months. Tonight, the whole gang is going to see my mom in her play (my 2nd time) and it's an interactive play. The audience is deciding a "who dunnit" murder. It's awesome and hilarious!!
