It's Black Friday my friends. Have you done your shopping?! I went out today but I went shopping for myself. Clothes are cheaper here in the lone star state.

Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving...and that you arent suffering too much from all the food. I was in Dallas with a bunch-o-family and it was fantastic. I dont get to see these relatives very often and I didnt want to go home at the end of the day. But we had a 3 hr drive ahead of us headed for the blue part of the red state, Austin. Nice to be home.

Not much more to report (execpt for a congrats to the Horns). Have a great black friday and a special shout out to the hairdressers of Austin (maybe this shout out will warrant a comment).

you might as well have slapped my cheek with your recently removed glove. a challenge like this can't be ignored.

"black friday" is a special day in our house-hold. my rampant dislike of the masses requires that i avoid them at all costs. a day like today (or tax-free weekend) means that i will not be found within 50 yards of any establishment capable of selling any goods or services. we did venture out to the park. it was empty because most of the public were slouching around the mall.

i love christmas music. sorry. but i agree that the offerings of crosby, sinatra, and cole are the preferred options. we have some great glen miller christmas music, as well. my favorite cd is a christmas offering from barbra steisand. it's not that i like her music - in fact, i find most of it to be awful. i just love the irony of listening to this jewish woman singing about the birth of christ.

happy thanksgiving.
