I meant to write this earlier, but I forgot. This morning, on the 3rd snooze of my alarm, I had a strange thing happen. Lately, I havent been able to wake up with just the buzzing alarm, so I thought I'd use music and I set it to Jack FM (AKA Bob FM in Austin). At one point, I woke up to the sound of Steely Dan's song "FM." This is the one that goes "no static, no static, no static at all!" (if you dont remember it, go to iTunes and listen to a 30 second clip and you'll recognize it). Anway, so that line played and somewhere towards the end of the phrase, I hit the snooze button and rolled over. And I felt something strange on my face....if you can believe it, it was a Snuggle dryer sheet!!! My cat must have been playing with it and brought it to me (as she does a lot with her toys). The "no static" combined with the dryer sheet actually managed to get me out of bed. Wonder what it will take tomorrow???
