Day 1: Tennessee Fitness Spa / Fat Camp / Rehab

Ok, so it's not rehab or fat camp but sometimes it feels like both. We dont have any caffeine, sugar, artifical sweetner or salt so there's the rehab part....and we are busting our asses for the entire day, thus Fat Camp.

Here's a list of what we (Christy Lee & Kirstie Lou) did today....by the way, since we are in the South, everyone has two names, so I thought we'd create ours as well.

6:45 AM - breakfast
we got carbs!!! - oatmeal, 1/2 a bagel (not a New Yorker bagel, very small), water and coffee (ok, so there's some caffeine, but not enough).

7:45 AM - stretch

8:00 AM - 5 Mile Walk. We chose to be in the fast group (12-15 min walking mile) and we both did a great job. But I think we might move to Group B tomorrow as each group adds a mile each day we progress and something tells me I dont need to be walking 10 miles on Saturday. Yikes. Group B will walk 8 and I guess I'm ok with that.

9:30 AM - change outta those sweaty clothes

10:00 AM - Stretch class - much appreciated!

10:45 AM - Circuit Training (weights and machines and abs)

11:30 AM - Pilates (how many abs can one do in one day?)

12:00 PM - Lunch!!! Yay! We had chicken taco fajita things...they are confused on their terminology, but it was chicken prepared as if it were to go into a taco and placed in a wheat wrap. Yum...sorta

1:15 PM - Tour of the grounds and the Natural Bridge - so much to tell here, but dont have the stamina to write it.

2:30 PM - for God's sake, rest a while! It was shower time...damn it's hot and humid here.

4:45 PM - Kirsten goes to another stretch class - cant have too many of those

6:00 PM - Feeding time again, yay! The lack of large portions is making my head hurt. Christy Lee and I have had headaches all day. Rehab's a bitch.

7:00 PM - Time to find out our Body Fat %. If you've read below, you'll notice I had some problems with my body fat reading. And low and behold, I'm not obese as my trainer thought. HA, bitch! (that's the lack of sodium talking, sorry).

8:00 PM - Rest and relax.

THis is a great place and the people that work here are some very amazing, motivating people. But we've shared moments with some crazies too....they are everywhere, right?!

It's 8:44pm and I'm almost ready for bed, can you believe it!! But we've got an even busier schedule tomorrow with 3 Cardio workouts, weight training and aqua workouts...help us!

Signing off....please post comments or email me while I'm in the sticks. It takes about a day and 1/2 to load a page, but I'm trying to be patient.

Good night

Sounds like a blast. Sort of. At least the stretching and relaxing and eating parts. Did your personal trainer recommend this, or did you find it on your own, or what, Kirstie Lou?

WOW - sounds like a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too, since you are sharing it with Christy Lee. I KNEW your trainer was crazy for calling you obese!

Have fun and don't forget the snacks you packed!

Hugs and love,
Rebecca Jean
