I would like to dedicate an entire blog entry to Mr. John Basedow of Fitness Made Simple. I mean, how could I go on in life if I didn't talk a little bit about John. To those of you outside of the NY Metro area, I'm not sure if you know of our friend John Basedow. And if you do, please let me know.

A nightly TV watching experience wouldn't be the same without a commercial for Fitness Made Simple. I can't go to sleep at night without seeing John slightly bent over with his abs crunched while explaining how his video "improves the bodies and lives of men & women everywhere." My favorite part is watching the variation of his advertisement and the changes in his hair color. For a time it was brown. Then it changed to frosted blonde. And now it's back to brown.

Why does it look like his head doesn't go with his body. And I don't mean just a still image...I mean on the video too. Maybe that's why his videos are so cheap looking...he has the latest and greatest video editing system that allows him to superimpose his head on a tight body.

And yesterday I saw that John has expanded his message. His ads can now be seen on the fancy flat screen TV-like ad banners on the outside of our fine subway system. I saw one at 16th Street and 8th Ave on the A/C/E line subway entrance.

What a guy.
