Have you ever had one of those days at work where you finally have a moment to relax and you cant believe that something you did that morning was actually the same day?! Sometimes it feels like 2 days has passed with the amount of work that has come your way. Well, I've had several of those days in a row. In fact, today, I thought it was Wednesday ALL DAY LONG. To the point where I was telling coworkers "no, I cant make that conference call tomorrow because I already have a 1 o'clock." And having to email back and say, oops, Im thinking that tomorrow is thursday. I've worked 10 hour days everyday since mid last week. But to be completely honest, it's all ok because I'm soooo happy right now with work - things are progressing very nicely in my career.

Another coworker said "career?? Is that what this is?" His boss heard him say that and she said "um, well, it doenst have to be a career...you could leave right now." She was joking...I think. She's pregnant, so you never know what hormones are involved.

While walking to a Deli to get dinner tonight, I heard a funny conversation. It might not be that funny to you, but if you'd seen the women, you'd think it was funny too.

Woman #1 - petite blonde woman dressed very trendy...but she had these little tassel things hanging off the sides of her jeans that pissed me off (yep, that made me mad for some strange reason)

Woman #2 - frumpy woman, hair in a bun, coat was way too big for her, but had cute boots on.

W1: "Like oh my God! you starting eating carbs? Like, you dont even like carbs."
W2: "I know, I dont even eat rice. But I've been craving cheese & crackers."
W1: "so strange...like, after all these years..."
W2: "it's true, I dunno, I just want pasta and crackers and stuff."

I stopped following them at this point. It made me laugh though.

"Hmmm...so just what was it about the tassel things?" the therapist asked. "Do they symbolize something for you?" he continued asking. "Now about the two strikingly different women...it sounds like they are Gray Sheet members of Overeaters Anonymous."
